Our Youth, Our Future Thai Elephant Home is a forerunner in community-based sustainable development. Not only are we an eco-friendly, animal-kind tourist business that cycles proceeds into local reforestation and elephant rescue, but we are also looking ahead to the future of our community. Giving Back We believe that education is important. We are currently providing opportunities for rural hill tribe youth to attend university in Chiang Mai while living and working here. One of our students is studying community development so he can give back to his village, and two young ladies are studying to become teachers!
